More New Brown Family Birthday Fun!
It's the end of October, so of course we're completely inundated with parties! Today it's our favorite little DeLorean Dee's birthday! The bar doesn't look too different from how it looked when Doc was having his birthday -- just with the brass balloons exchanged for silver and red and orange added to the ribbon decorations. Dee's looking extra bouncy this year, and who can blame her? After all, her family's now officially grown by two this year! (Three if the mun ever gets her ass in gear on a certain event. . .)

"It's called a nightmare, and sometimes -- they just happen," DGVictor murmurs with a wince, as Alice puts an arm around him.
Dee pouts at that. "I dun wanna think about the time Alice tried to leave."
"Me either," Vic says, shuddering. "There's a reason I've already decided I'm never doing a plot like that again."

"Sorry," they both say and AL adds, "We should really stop doing this at parties."
"Though it is usually the only time we're all together..." states Twelve.
AL does a sort of nod-shrug. "Yeah, but still. It's our problem, not theirs. But, anyways, it's all over now and everything's okay. Even if the finale holds something that makes the alter ego reject their canon and substitute her own, hopefully it won't get that bad and, if it does, it's resolved by the next party." She scratches her head. "That's January, right? For Steve and Gary?"

"It's just us, really," Victor adds, rubbing the back of his head. "Bad memories and all. . . I'm glad you two are all right though."
"Yeah!" Dee agrees, getting bouncy again. "And yup, first of the new year, just like always! That'll be fun! It's cool when your birthday is a holiday."
"Not like we really celebrate New Year's much, kiddo," Steve points out.
"Still cool."

She turns to Dee. "That's good. As I'm sure you're aware, the alter ego is going on vacation soon so we'd be scarce if there'd been anything in November. So next party being in January is good. Even if you have a Christmas party, that's okay. Don't have to worry about hopping in the TARDIS to get here on time with either one."
"We use the TARDIS to get here anyway," Clark points out.
"And we're also usually late anyway," adds Adam.
"Yeah but I'm talking about days or weeks, not hours." She scratches her head. "I could've sworn we had to do that once...maybe back when this was on LiveJournal." She shrugs. "At any rate. December or January, whichever." She nods.

"Yeah, it's always been Universal with us," Vic replies, chuckling softly. "One of these days I'm going to go see one of those parks in person. But I hope you and yours have a good time!"
She tilts her head as AL discusses having to use the TARDIS once to reach a party on time. "If you did have to pull that once, I've forgotten too. Probably was back in the LJ days. No big, though -- sometimes, life happens. Which is happening quite a lot with me, lately. . ." AKA don't pin your hopes on a Christmas party juuuuust yet.

She smirks at the mention of pictures. "Oh, she will. She's emptying her phone out on Sunday - backing it up to the computer - to make room for lots of photos and videos."
Then she nods at V. "No biggie if there's no Christmas party. Life certainly does happen. January is fine."

Vic chuckles. "Sounds like one heck of a fun trip, though. I hope you all have a blast. And yeah, we'll see what happens once it gets closer to Christmas. I DO get more days off both this month and the next, so I might be up for some sort of short something."
