"I suppose it also depends on what he's been doing for the past three decades -- no one said life was going to be easy after you defeated the emperor and all that," Alice notes, glancing at Luke. "In fact, aren't most of the novels and comics all about making it harder? I know the 'verse' has a lot of those."

AL's dislike of beards prompts some snickering from the guests. "Vic's the same way," Clockwork notes with a smirk. "You should see how sour she gets whenever Christopher Lloyd grows facial hair."

"That's because you generally end up with something that resembles a porn-stache, mister," Vic informs him, poking his side. "As for Luke. . .well, I haven't seen his beard, so I can't comment. Though making parallels to Obi-Wan does seem a likely reason for it. And hey, maybe you won't have to pretend he shaved -- it might come off in the movie for plot reasons. You never know."

"Thank you," Alice replies, taking DGVictor's hand with a smile. "That's funny that you and Luke don't get a lot of stories, though. I mean, I'm sure his adventures left him with little time for romance -- but that hardly stopped Vicky with my A:MR self," she adds, nodding in the direction of Forgotten Vows.
