"That is fair enough," Vic agrees. "Hell, over here in the States, we barely get that much."

"Yes, but as you are fond of complaining, British 'seasons' don't last that long," Clockwork reminds her. "How many episodes is the average series of Doctor Who? QI comes in sets of eleven, I know that."

"Dunno. . .glad to hear 'Mistress' is doing a good job -- and honestly, I don't think you need to worry," Vic tells AL. "I know some people would love a female Doctor, or one of a different race, but I doubt the people in charge of the show would ever actually take the risk."

"With me, I think it's a combination of anticipation and overactive imagination," Vic says, shivering. "I can't look down if I climb stairs with gaps in them, and while I do like rides like Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls, the long wait to get on, plus actually climbing the hill, gives my brain too much time to think about shit. Floating seems infinitely safer -- and pretty fun all on its own."
