Happy Birthday Victor! (Yes, Just Victor)

Yes, today is all about the birthday of the newest member of the Inkwell group -- Forgotten Vows! Why are we neglecting Marty McFly, DG-Victor, and Butterfly Boy?

Largely because everyone realized we were up to FOUR people with the same birthday (SIX if you count Tie-Twister and Secundus Marty), and everyone said, "Oh HELL no." It's just too much trouble at this point to keep track of everyone. So, to simplify things, the party is being focused on the guy who has yet to get one.

So! The Inkwell is not only done up in Corpse Bride-flavor blue, but "Alice"-flavor red as well today. The jukebox is playing bits from the "Alice" soundtrack -- primarily anything that strongly features piano, with a few other pieces Forgotten likes as well. And sprinkled liberally around on the unoccupied tables is butterfly confetti, as that applies to both series equally. Forgotten himself is at the traditional birthday table, looking a little shy, but happy to be so loved. Won't you come by and make sure to welcome him to the family properly?

Forgotten Vows gapes for a long moment. "That's -- you -- really?" he squeaks, eyes wide.

"Yup," Vic says with a grin, handing it over. "Have your very own death laser, my poor abused muse."

Forgotten gapes for a moment more, taking the stick with exaggerated care and running his fingers along it. Then, almost on automatic, his head turns to face the dummy.

"Uh -- I'm pretty sure that would annihilate it, so only do that once you're sick of looking at it," Vic says with an awkward smile. "But still, have fun with it."

Forgotten Vows nods to give her the point, then grins. "Oh, I will, I certainly will. Thank you very, very much."

Vic grins back and gives him a thumbs up, then turns to Secundus Marty. "Oh! And I have a present for you too. I know we weren't doing presents for the others this year, but this is a big one and also affects you on tumblr, so. . ."

"Huh?" Secundus Marty blinks a few times. "What the heck did you--"

He's interrupted by a young lady jumping on him from behind and wrapping him in a hug. A very familiar young lady. "Hi Marty!"

Secundus Marty's face lights up. "JENNIFER!" He whirls around to hug her. "Oh man, I haven't seen you in ages!"

Vic laughs at the happy reunion. "Yeah, I figured, what with Butterfly Boy getting married and all, your girlfriend should probably show up for at least a little while," she giggles.

"What, no Clara for me?" Secundus Doc says, though it's clear he's being facetious.

"Wait til your birthday, Doc," Secundus Marty says, giving Secundus Jennifer a kiss.

"Yeah -- I'll get you guys off to the Old West sooner or later," Vic nods.
