All Hail Our May Queen

Spring has finally sprung around the mun's house, just in time for Alice's birthday! As a result, there's a surprising number of flowers around the bar -- little bud roses in tiny vases, and lilies and violets in larger containers. There's also the requisite streamers (blue and white) and balloons (red). The birthday girl herself is making some daisy flower crowns with Dee to celebrate the occasion. She certainly wouldn't say no to extra company!

"Right, being as you're technically the same person," Alice agrees with a chuckle. "And really, it's all perfectly understandable. I'm sure anyone who's been someone's second or third love has gone through something similar. You can't fault a subconscious, no -- and when you think about it, her stopping loving those her past would actually be rather awful, wouldn't it? Make you wonder just how fast she'd forget you when it was all said and done. . ." She shakes her head. "So long as everyone's happy, it shouldn't matter too much."

"They have them, but I honestly don't remember if I actually put it around my wrist or not," Forgotten confesses.

"Not that it'd matter much -- you got pretty thin wrists," Steve observes. "Though, uh, thanks for the warning. Ain't such a problem for us, since we got our grippy teeth, but you guys? Use the damn strap."
